Wildlife Photography Exhibition

5th October to 9th November 2024

This exhibition showcases 100 of my wildlife photographs, mostly taken since my first exhibition at the MJC back in 2019. All creatures great and small are featured from countries far and wide; as well as some surprise additions during lockdowns spent with my camera in our garden.  With Covid a thankfully fading memory, recent travels abroad have taken me to Australia, South Africa, Singapore, Tobago and Costa Rica and it is a pleasure to be given the opportunity to share some of the wildlife of those and other countries with you.

Dartford Warbler

A short visit to Norfolk in September produced my first sighting and photograph of a Dartford Warbler.

Little Bunting!

Much closer to home I heard that a very rare Little Bunting had been seen near Foots Cray Meadow in Bexley. Usually when I am told about these sightings I never find it. This time however, this smart little bird turned up on a path in front of me and stayed for several minutes foraging on the ground. Another ‘first’ for me.
